Cut the onion into small cubes. Fry it in a pan with preheated oil until golden brown. Add the minced meat and, stirring, cook for about 5 minutes over high heat.
Combine soy sauce, seasoning, and (if desired) chopped herbs with the meat. Then add the string beans, stir, and cover.
Turn down the heat and fry, stirring, until the beans are soft. If necessary, add salt to the dish.
